For this project narrative data was collected through semi-structured interviews from participants who were local residents of Llanelli, South Wales. In conjunction with Carmarthenshire County Council the data was used in a community artwork ‘Son–et-Lumiere’ by collaborative art team ‘External Galleries’ in 2013. Visual images from the museum archive and participants own collections were digitised, put to music and were then projected onto the facades of the buildings in Llanelli town centre by External Galleries in their Son-et-Lumiere entitled ‘Lighting up Time’.
